“ So, I tried this place out earlier this year and was quite excited, because it was my first time sampling THE RICE NOODLE! The biggest thing I was not expecting, but kinda makes sense, is that they don't taste like anything! I had the beef and the duck ones. Texture-wise, they're exactly what I expected: fluffy, pillowy clouds...of tasteless nothing, UNLESS you're dousing it in the sauces they give you. If you take nothing else from this review, take this: DOUSE IT IN THE SAUCE. Dump it all over. Use EVERYTHING. The whole containers. All of it. THEN you will have the true experience of flavor. Also, cashier was super friendly, prices are great, and the noodles, when sauce-doused, are comforting consumption. ”

I ordered the pork with scallions, and it was delicious, super affordable, and definitely worth the visit. “ Delicious rice noodle rolls! I love all the ones we got and I love this hole in the wall! They give you a lot of sauces for you to try with your roll! There is a small area outside for you to sit and eat. Rolls come out fresh and hot, would totally come back!! ”

“ Had a hankering for steamed rice noodles, a.k.a. Cheung Fun, while in Chinatown and found Tonii's Fresh Rice Noodle, a great cheap eats! This no-frills small spot doesn't really have a place to sit other than a short bench, but the range of options and affordable prices made me try it out... and glad I did!!! Went for the Fresh Shrimp Rice Noodles. The nice sized portion for $6, which came with 4 sauce containers, arrived quickly. Used 3 of the 4 flavorful sauce topping containers provided, one of which was also like a satay sauce, and it all was absolutely delicious! While Chinatown has many options, would definitely recommend Tonii's as a worthwhile spot to grab a bite from. Looking forward to my next visit to explore all their other options, although I'll certainly be a repeat customer for the Fresh Shrimp! ”

“ LOVE their rice noodles! It's thin, melt in mouth, and a lovely texture. The sauces and toppings also go perfectly with the delicate noodles. You're guaranteed a satisfying, filling, and delicious meal when you're here! The inside is small, expect to carry out when you're here. Service is fast so you can be in and out within 10 minutes. Prices are also wonderful! I paid $6 ish for one box of noodles and it filled me up :) ”

“ Tiny place inside basically just order from the register and get out of the store haha. The sponge cakes are in stacked bins which is funny to me. The sponge cake didn't look very appetizing and I expected it to be dry, but it was surprisingly soft and delicious. ”

“ The staff is friendly. Still the same 5 stars rating for me. My go to place for rice noodles is at Tonii's. Ordered the Tonii's special and came with their classic sauces which included: peanut sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce and chili sauce. There is a bench to sit. People would come here for the different flavors of sponge cakes as well. Pay in cash. Would recommend coming here! Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 ”

“ Tonii's is one of my favorite cheung fun places in the city- consistently good portions with chewy rice noodles and speedy order fulfillment. There's no seating inside but there's some outdoor seating in the shed or at the nearby park. I love all their rice rolls- you really cannot go wrong but the fresh shrimp and roast pork are some of my favorites (especially when doused in the chill oil). As with all Chinatown establishments- cash is king. With that being said, they do take card (I think $10 is the min, or Venmo!) ”

“ I got the fresh shrimp rice roll and scurried over at 6:15 before they closed on Sunday night. Service was really friendly and kind and took my order over the phone so even when the kitchen closed, I still got my order. The portion of rice roll was definitely full. The ratio of meat to rills was a bit off however. In total, I counted 5 tiny shrimp to massive amounts of rice rolls. That being said- the rice rolls are really good- silky and with the sauce, slightly sweet. They're made fresh and you can tell. No seating but plenty of space outside to stand and eat your rice rolls! ”
